Tim says as soon as he met Rebecca he knew he would marry her. When his uncle met her, he advised Tim to dump her quickly. She was too good for him and Tim was bound to get dumped himself, so he should get in first and save himself some heartbreak. Luckily Tim was prepared to take the risk…

Rebecca and her bridesmaids Cheryl and Janine got ready in Plimmerton before being collected by Jeff from Prestige Classics with his beautiful Rolls Royce. The ceremony and reception were held at Porirua’s Gear Homestead, a beautiful old timber building set in rambling gardens: a photographer’s dream!

Rebecca’s Dad Jeff just needed a few final touch-ups and then it was on with the processional. :)

Minister David Hollier christened Tim as a baby so it was pretty special that he could officiate at his wedding too!

Rebecca was a little startled to be asked to come into the women’s loos to be photographed, but I loved the wallpaper! I also loved their wishing tree, with the teacup of little cards for guests to write their thoughts on.

Rebecca and Tim placed their grandparents’ wedding photos on the mantlepiece of the reception room, which was rather lovely! The cake was made by Tim’s friend Ursula Schuster.

Tim, well done for ignoring your uncle. You and Rebecca are made for each other!
